Hi all, Amber here! Well, the third McWorkshop has started in full force. Sunday was an awesome day filled with workshop preparation and recovery from our previous night's weddings (Corey, Jeremy and I ALL had events to shoot, so it was a pretty intense weekend.) Sunday night we had a fun party at the studio, sponsored by the lovely Tara. Sadly (or maybe not so sadly!), we were having so much fun that there aren't really any images from the party!

Monday, we arrived at the studio bright and early, and spent our morning listening to Corey divulge his secrets concerning sales and marketing. I know I say it over and over again, but these workshops are awesome for me. I learn something new every day, even though this is my third one (not including the tour!) We broke at noon for a quick and delicious lunch at 12 Bones (yum!) sponsored by our friends at Pixel2Canvas! A few of my shots...

After lunch, we headed back to the studio where the lovely Tara (owner of weddings with Tara, former bride of Corey's, and our dear friend) talked to us frankly about some of the needs and desires that wedding planners have for photographers. It was very insightful, as always. Thank you so much, Tara, for all that you've given to this workshop this week!

Corey wrapped up with more marketing info, and then we headed out for our first shoot of the week. Beautiful Tara returned with her super hot husband Jonathan to model for the class for a while.

After our shoot, we broke for some beautification time, and met back to hang out a bit over dinner. We had a great time with our group of giggly girls and one Will :)

After dinner we headed over to Usual Suspects to play some darts. One game of darts takes us FOREVER! Corey and Will were pretty good... but we gals aren't awesome at it at all.
