Chicago

I had a great time in Chicago a few weeks ago! Not only did I get to work with the amazing and very talented Bob Davis, but I got to shoot three fantastic couples.... AND got to go to my first Cubs game to shoot behind the scenes at (and ON) Wrigley Field! Bob got us press passes to the game, so I was able to try my hand at some sports shots... super fun!

Actually, the real reason we were at the game was not just to play, but also to shoot Nicky's and Rick's engagements. It was a blast... they were such a fun couple! Obviously, they are HUGE baseball fans!

Bob and I also shot engagements around the Lincoln Park area for Nicoletta and Bronko. They were naturals in front of the camera and we had a great afternoon with them.

The main reason for my trip to Chi-town was to shoot Janny's and James' beautiful wedding! They were such a cool couple... they were ready to do absolutely anything we wanted them to for their photos. Bike riding, Union Station, you name it! They had an absolutely gorgeous reception at the W Hotel on the lake in Chicago.

It was a busy two days! A huge 'thanks' to all three couples, and especially to Bob! Looking forward to your coming to shoot in Asheville... we're gonna have a blast - again! Here are a couple of shots of "the great Bob Davis" (as the ceremony officiant called him during the ceremony!) shooting... I love the one of Bob on the dance floor:

I know... his attire was atrocious... almost as unprofessional as insulting his taste publicly! Just kidding! We appreciate your comments.

Incidentally, I wore a tux.... not!
