Happy Thanksgiving!

Yes, I had to work today too. But that's ok...I know that the couples are eager to see their photos and I want them to be able to share them with family, so what better time to show off their photos than on Thanksgiving Day.

Don't worry, I'll be having dinner with my family later this evening!

Happy Holidays!

Things are starting to feel more normal around the studio now. Since our last post, we now have our internet connection, the alarm and phone systems are in place, and we've got our new Epson 9800 wide-format printer up and running!

Corey McNabb Photography welcomes Jeremy Russell to the team as the new studio manager! Jeremy recently relocated from Los Angeles and brings with him experience unmatched by local applicants. His creative eye, powerful Photoshopping skills, and fresh attitude make him a perfect fit for the job. We're glad to have him on board.

Here's a shot I took of Amber and Rob. They were married recently at Claxton Farm in Weaverville, NC. They were such a happy couple....and their dog was one of the groomsmen!

It's been a hectic week! Believe it or not, I'm still without an internet connection at the studio thanks to Charter's procrastination. I do, however, have an alarm system in place and a new phone line that finally seem to work together....after 3 full days of troubleshooting between ADT and BellSouth. Until we're fully functional at the studio, we're forced to work out of both the original and new locations. We're looking forward to week's end, when the full migration is predicted to be complete.

I shot my last wedding of the season (though not the last one of the year) on Saturday and am now focusing on post production. We still have several weddings to edit, but are progressing nicely and are still on track for timely deliveries.

Nattalie, my studio manager, is moving back to Florida tomorrow morning. After months of dedicated commitment and honing her talents, issues at home have forced her return to her home state to work on family conflicts. We wish her all the best and look forward to her timely return to Corey McNabb Photography. And to those brides Nattalie is working with, she is still very much dedicated to providing stunning imagery and great customer service for you!

In the meantime, taking Nattalie's place in the studio is Nicole Sabourin. Nicole is a very talented photographer hailing from Charlotte, NC. She is currently a student at UNCA and is majoring in multimedia arts. We're very excited to have Nicole on the team and look forward to the skill, organization and joy that she brings to the studio!

I had a nice lunch this afternoon with many of the area's other wedding photographers. We're trying to make it a regular thing once a month and this was our second meeting. It's nice to network and share ideas and stories with one another. I'm already looking forward to the next month!
