Carrie and Matt: A Fairy-Tale wedding at the Biltmore Estate!
What better bride for a fairy-tale wedding than the former Belle from Walt Disney World!? From beginning to end, the event was gorgeous. Though I've shot dozens of Deerpark weddings, without a doubt I've never shot one there quite like Carrie's and Matt's! A wedding planner herself, Carrie paid careful attention to every last detail. Tara Jordon ensured that all of Carrie's ideas were carried out to a T. Blossoms out-did themselves. The Smoochbooth joined the party alongside a lipsologist, and a signature drink, the Darling's own "Smoochtini", to round out the Smooches Cocktail Lounge. The Biltmore staff cranked out an amazing whimsical cake, which was published in Grace Ormande. And Carrie and Matt were sure to add their touches to everything, from the personalized dining booth and neon sign that Matt built, right down to the embroidered wedding logo inside Carrie's shoes!
No detail was forgotten... Even the insoles of Carrie's shoes were personalized with their wedding logo.
My 600mm birding lens came in handy while shooting from the balcony!
The reception started with a cocktail hour in the "Smooches Lounge"! Sign handmade by Matt himself. While guests enjoyed the signature Darling "Smooch Me" martinis, they were entertained by Lipsologists, and smooching in the Smoochbooth!

The ceremony was held at the beautiful Basilica of St. Lawrence in downtown Asheville.

Another detail handmade by Matt... The "Darling Bar" sign.
The choreographed first dance was beautiful!
