UPDATE: 10am Hey everyone!

We're super excited!! (About the upcoming tour, not that the sign up form isn't working!)

The web site lives on my server, but the form lives on White Glove's server as they will be taking registrations.

The web design team that created the form for us is aware of the issue and is working hard to fix the problem... we're sorry you guys are having trouble!! I guess every new venture has its speedbumps. We thoroughly tested the form before the launch, but it looks like due to the excitement over our tour, we seem to have crashed White Glove's server!!! Yay!! I guess that's a good problem to have!

The good news is, you can still sign up!!!

You can call White Glove directly at 714-841-6900 9-5 PST, or you can call me directly at the studio at 828.254.4954 10-6 EST, to sign up until the webform is back up!!!

Again, we're very sorry for any inconvenience, but we'll be up and running again soon... finger's crossed!!

Corey

UPDATE: 4:30pm The registration for is back up!! Yay~!~

Stay tuned!

We will be launching an all new website very soon!! We're very excited about it and we hope you will be too! Even though we continually get extremely positive feedback about our current site, we feel it's time for a fresh look. Though our current site is fine and has provided long and reliable service, architecturally it's difficult to update on our end and it can be slow to load for some users with slower connections...probably both due to the fact that I built it myself and I'm far from a web designer! We hope the new site will live up to the reputation we've worked so hard to achieve.

Update: Not only will we be launching a new website soon... we have a very exciting announcement regarding a fun workshop opportunity for fellow photographers! We'll be launching both sites as soon as we can. I assure you, we're working on them non-stop and hope to be up very soon! Thanks for your patience!

Too funny!!

Jeremy pulled this clip up the other day and we about died laughing. Since it's photography related, I just had to share~! Click the photo to view the video.

Finally... a few minutes to socialize.

2007 proved to be as busy as 2006, and though I'm still slammed with work as 2008 kicks off (which is a good thing!), the winter is now being slightly generous, though still judicious, with a little time for me to socialize with some friends in the past couple of weeks.

My friends at LaCour and Couture Books hosted party in Atlanta recently and I was very happy to attend!
Here I am with Andrew, Rachel, Mark and Erin of LaCour... and I even managed to get Adam in the background!

Chris and Katie from 6 of Four Creations, Ty Miller, and me..

Several of the Asheville photographers once again got together at the Pictage User Group meeting (PUG) and we were happy to host my friends Justin and Mary from Connecticut. Afterwards, a few of us went back to my studio for a couple of chocolate martinis, compliments of my lovely wife, Jill.

Happy birthday, Hadley! Our good friend, Kevin, called us and invited us to his wife Hadley's surprise birthday party for a little bowling fun! Hadley and Kevin are not only good friends, but clients as well. They were married new year's eve 2006 and they were also fabulous models for my last workshop in October!

Check out Jill's vintage bowling shirt... "Norma Webb", from Enid Oklahoma's Shamrock Bowling Team. You can't make it out in the photo, but her ball is from the famed Hollywood Star Lanes in Hollywood, CA before they tore it down... it was also the setting of The Big Lebowski! (And for all you photographer-types that watch my blog... all of these images were taken with the D3 at 6400 iso, without a flash present)

My ball was a little different than the others at the lanes tonight...

Happy birthday Hadley!

I just had to get a couple of shots of Hadley and Kevin simul-bowling...

Cutting her cake...

Thanks you guys for inviting us! It was a great departure from staring at the computer all day! Before the party, I shot some amazing bridal portraits of a former Miss USA - Virginia...stay tuned!

I was also delighted to meet my friends Amber and Shyla for lunch on Friday! They're some of my favorite peeps!

Corey McNabb: Dapper and Debonair

Recently, I had the esteemed privilege of photographing one of my favorite photographers. When Corey asked me to photograph him with his beloved '49 Ford Club Coupe, I was just a wee bit nervous. Photographing photographers comes with its own brand of pressure, and compounding that feeling were the challenges that come from photographing a dear friend.

I needn't have worried. Corey is just as amazing in front of the camera as he is behind it!

I'll let the images speak for him. I hope you all enjoy viewing them as much as I enjoyed taking them.

(Corey and Lincoln, the cutest dog on the planet!)

(watch for a shoot with the Landy soon!)

Wedding Planner's Son's Gorgeous Florida Wedding!

A few weeks ago, I had the very distinct privilege of covering a very unique wedding. I was honored to be able to shoot the wedding of Scott and Jessica on Captiva Island in Florida at South Seas Plantation. Scott and Jessica own the Asheville-based company Classic Event Rental. I'm always honored to cover an event for a fellow wedding vendor, and if Classic Event Rental were not enough, Scott is the son of prominent local wedding planner, Gwenn Ford, owner of Wedding Inspirations. As you might imagine, the event was truly spectacular! And the couple? As happy as can be! It was such a fun time. The Flower Gallery even brought in the flowers from Asheville. The whole design was stunning!

A couple of their engagement shots:

After their beautiful and intimate ceremony in Florida, Scott and Jessica threw another great reception, this time here in Asheville. And again, as you can imagine, it was quite a party!
